A ghost tour is a ghost storytelling/walking tour conducted by a tour guide in the evening hours on the streets of a particular city. Normally, one does not go into the buildings, but typically you will be close enough to touch them. The tours are designed to retell the spiritual accounts and haunted history of different locations. All stories have been thoroughly researched and well documented. Some stories have even been reported by police officers. We take pride in our tours and we never embellish our paranormal stories.
Our tours are in the evenings when most buildings are closed. Occasionally, we are invited into some of the buildings during the haunted tour. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to enter the buildings. We are only invited in when the conditions are right for a large tour group to look around. Call (888) 844-3999 to find out if your tour will be going inside buildings.
Yes, advance purchase is required for all tours. We do this so that your haunted walking tour does not get overcrowded.
Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferable. Please call 615-884-3999 for more information.
Bring an umbrella! Tours are conducted rain or shine. However, if the conditions are deemed hazardous or severe, we reserve the right to cancel the tour. We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather conditions.
Absolutely! If we cancel your tour for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
No, restrooms are not available during the traditional ghost tour.
All of our haunted walking tours are leisurely paced. Unlike a lot of other tour companies, we don’t try and walk you to “death” during our tours.
Through the years we have hosted many children on our tours. The youngest child who mentioned loving the tour was only six years old. We do not know your child nor do we know what frightens him or her. Normally, when asked this question we refer to the parent. The parent is the best judge of what a child can handle. We like to say that our tours might provoke questions from your youngsters, but not nightmares.
Although we will not guarantee paranormal experiences, we have had lots of “ghostly experiences” on our tours. Please feel free to ask your tour guide about their haunted experiences, or read about some of them in our Tour Guides Blog.
This is a storytelling tour, not a haunted house. Nothing is staged and no employees will jump out and try to scare you. If anything happens on your tour, it is truly paranormal in nature.
We love dogs and welcome them on all our outdoor tours. Please see that your dog is friendly, on a leash and please be sure to bring the appropriate supplies to clean up any messes.
Tours in Washington D.C. are completely wheelchair and stroller-friendly. Please mention that you will be bringing a wheelchair/stroller when purchasing tickets.
Currently, our tours are in English only.
We recommend bringing a camera for all tours. Not only can you get great pictures of haunted historic buildings, but you might also just capture a ghost on film! Your tour guides will be happy to assist you in a ghost hunt with photography.
Video cameras are prohibited on the tour.
No, there is no legitimate way to guarantee a picture of a ghost. We recommend you be wary of any company that promises paranormal pictures or experiences. It is simply not possible. According to Donna Marsh, Founder of the Adsagsona Paranormal Society, “The spirits appear when and where THEY want to. We’ve yet to meet any that would just appear on command.”
Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Please call (888) 844-3999 for more detail.
In some cities, we have accommodated hundreds of people at one time. Sizes vary by city, please call (888) 844-3999 to speak with our group tour specialists.
Yes, we offer a $2 discount for all of the military.
